With over thirty years’ experience in public sector information technology, I am an accomplished and highly committed Information Technology/Business Information professional, having fulfilled roles ranging from Chief Information Officer (CIO) through to Informatics Director. During my time within the NHS, I have gained a wide breadth of expertise in organisation operational Service Level Management, IT, Information Analysis and Information Governance (including IG Toolkit), Subject Access Requests/arbitrations and Freedom of Information requests/challenges.
I have implemented an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, as well as successfully delivering a multi-million pound IT procurement (including OJEU). I have also installed projects bringing efficiency savings using the PRINCE 2 methodology and overseen complete technology fit-outs of a number of large complex properties.
